On this day, in Zitiste (village in Vojvodina/Serbia), the fox allegedly infected with rabies has allegedly bitten a farm dog –
Director of Veterinary Department ordered (AGAIN) that hunters are to kill all the foxes, and gave order to the communal enterprise to release dogcatchers and hunters on streets and to kill all "stray" dogs.
Again NO one of the authorities had MENTIONED anti-rabies’ vaccination for wild animals (by using a bait), urgent free of charge vaccination of all the animals in the area that should be in quarantine, livestock markets should be closed, transport of animals and animals products forbidden from contaminated to endangered area.
Still, the people and animals in
Animals are exposed to mass killing and the city officials had set the price for animals head to- 6000-10000 dinars/ per corpse (1euro = 80 dinars)
Veterinary Department does not implement Veterinary Law and is only interested in money, even if that means the building up piles of animal corpses and the broad risk of humans and animals being affected with rabies-?
