Please voice your concers for Animals in Serbia, Help us to brake this chain of abuse,- where along with dogs and cats and all other Animals, people that care for them are- abused, kidnapped and all basic human rights are taken away from them.

    -January 31. 2006.- In all leading daily news papers- "panic Campaign" ~~Authorities did not put Belgrade in Quarantine, They don’t have proper equipment for transport of infected animals, nor for transportation of dead bodies,  (Because they did not build cemetery as citizen asked them…)-killed Animals end up in black, plastic bags and then bodies are delivered to City waste dump!Authorities moved dead fox and then they moved catched stray dogs in that same truck. Truck was not isolated! If there was a real rabies outbreak- then official have put in danger the Belgrade city!!

 Then, dog catchers "shinters" drove from one part of Belgrade to another and distance from those locations are aprox.- 20 kilometers- and ride was thru City center -City authorities are dangerous NOT the dogs!

NOTE:All 50 dogs, kidnapped from Novi Beograd 5 days ago are killed, city officials say euthanasia, > but clubbing and poisoning is not euthanasia!They charge a vaccine but they had to give it for free in rabies outbreak...City Dog Catchers are still operating on streets with same equipment... endangering citizens and other animals....

IS BELGRADE RABIES PANIC COVERING FOR DOG/CAT SKINNERS?

*Belgrade Rabies*February 05.   City officials proclaimed rabies in Vozdovac (part of Belgrade>>> February 03. 2006.

"As of this date,the Society for Infectious Diseases had NOT been notified of any rabies outbreak. Usually they are notified of outbreaks immediately...In the case of rabies in Belgrade, there have been NO confirmed cases reported in years""If ProMed has NO information about a rabies outbreak in Belgrade, that means that none was properly identified and officially reported...."

 February 01. 2006."..If there was a rabies outbreak, the Belgrade authorities are supposed to notify the Serbian authorities,  who are supposed to notify the World Health Organization,  and all of this is supposed to be done very quickly, in order to give everyone at potential risk the maximum possible opportunity to try to keep the outbreak from spreading.

So far, as best I can tell, this has not been done.  If there are any recent advisories out about rabies existing in Serbia..other than as a hypothetical threat based on past cases,  I cannot find them..."

Just like that, killed--on the midle of the street- dead, poisoned...as a reminder where Serbian citizens live.

When city officials are not "hunting" them, vicious citizens poison them--and then they are viciously laughing, hidden in the shade- while animal starts to scream in pain.
